What has blue cheese got to do with more clients?

Mark and I had the privilege of working with Erica Dent of Enjoy Discovering Wine over this week-end, over a lovely meal with wine. Who said “business had to be hard work.”

We worked solidly for 2 hours (before dinner) pulling together the components of the system she wants to support the growth of her business. (Mark said “I am one of the best project managers he has worked with, felt very chuffed considering he has worked with some big companies over the past 20 plus years in IT”)

Erica has a vision to be the leading wine trainer for the South ensuring every Hotel, restaurant and Bar has staff that can provide exceptional customer service at all times. One thing I do know is that if a business is going to come out of the recession a success you will have to do 2 things:

  • Think big and believe you can be successful despite the recession
  • Think creatively and never stop investing in the people who represent your business. (if you are a sole trader that means you, invest in you)

Erica has all of the vision and foresight to ensure she has the administration system to cope with growth. I am so lucky that Mark was made redundant. It means we can now offer this kind of support to our clients, helping them work as well as communicate more effectively.  

So what has all this got to do with Blue Cheese. Well along with good quality wine Erica served, Erica introduced us to the produce of her local deli in Hamble maybe Erica will leave the number in the comments soon. Anyway we were able to enjoy some beautiful lamb shanks and OH!OH! a wonderful Blue cheese. Brandon Blue I think?? she said.

Anyone if I have mentioned this cheese once since saturday I have mentioned it 100 times and it is only Wednesday and now I mentioning it in my blog. I must get some soon.

Imagine now if every time your customers did business with you they went away with that “Oh Oh what a wonderful experience” how many people would they tell about your service.
